Sutton Hoo Lyre

Made of Scottish sycamore in this example shown, with gold plated bronze mounts, and hand made soundboard tacks, boxwood pegs and bridge.

The strings are natural Gut (I can also fit Fluorocarbon strings)

The price is £3000 which includes english Sycamore top and body, the authentic head joints gold plated bronze hardware, Copper alloy soundboard tacks and a custom made hard case

Taplow Lyre:
This lyre is based on the Taplow lyre remains with a joint head inset into the top of the lyre arms,  the mounts are handmade, cast in bronze, with a cuttlefish bone and garnet eye, 24 carat gold plated.   This model comes with soundboard pins like the Sutton Hoo model and lyre playing strap tuning keys and case.



  The fittings are boxwood on this lyre with gut strings standard.              £3000
